Not as painful as an episode of “Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares” (for Food Network illiterates, that’s Michelin Star Chef and cookbook author Gordon Ramsey’s series in which he transforms a floundering restaurant within one week) and, at times, it’s been inspiring (check out Glenn Race’s drop dead gorgeous food photos in the “Nine Bites” post and Nancy Deni’s fab faux painting in the “New Digs” post) but so far it has been a very busy three weeks of renovation–transforming the old Earl’s into the new Earl’s Bucks County. Here’s the 30 second update of what has been done so far: A new expanded bar dining area with new wood floors has been created by removing the glass partition from the dining room wall off the lobby; new carpeting throughout the dining rooms and main bar area; faux painted ceilings in bar, foyer, dining rooms; new color palette throughout restaurant; and artwork and glass removed to make way for new pieces. Six days until the opening on Feb. 2, stay tuned…..
