What does Earl’s restaurant at Peddler’s Village have in common with Tavern on the Green in New York City? Both restaurants served their last New Year’s Eve meals on December 31st. While the 75-year old NYC landmark closed its doors on the last day of 2009, Earl’s will close on January 10 for just a little gussying up. It will reopen on February 2 as Earl’s Bucks County with a fresh look and a new approach that has been slowly evolving throughout 2009, based on a commitment to supporting a sustainable local food economy and the growing farm-to-table movement. We’ll keep you posted here as we get more info on the all-day New American menu (promising to be friendly to families and your wallet) and the new look.
