Peddler's Village CEO Chris Leskauskas and Lace Silhouettes Lingerie owner Karen Thompson, both Service Association Board members, invite you to Cruise the Village!
Sail away at Cruise the Village to support Family Service Association of Bucks County. Peddler’s Village will host the fundraising dinner event on Friday, April 23, 2010 at 6 p.m.
The evening begins with a Bon Voyage party at Giggleberry Fair at 6 p.m. The Captain’s Dinner and Live & Silent Auctions will be held at the Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant at 7 p.m.
On board activities include live musical entertainment by Bob Egan, complimentary photos by Clix, and a 50/50 drawing. Cruise/Resortwear is suggested.
Peddler’s Village CEO Christopher J. Leskauskas said that supporting the work of Family Service was a natural decision for the company. Leskauskas has been a member of the FSA Board of Directors since 2007.
“Peddler’s Village supports a variety of national and regional causes but Family Service’s mission here in Bucks County is especially meaningful to us. FSA’s programs and counseling are critical to the well-being of struggling families and individuals throughout our county. Peddler’s Village invites the community to join us in these worthwhile efforts to improve the lives of our Bucks County neighbors,” said Leskauskas.
Audrey J. Tucker, CEO of FSA agreed that the collaboration with Peddler’s Village would be a win for Bucks County families.
“We are delighted that Peddler’s Village had graciously partnered with us through the Cruise the Village event. Our collaboration will help us in serving almost 6,000 individuals each year. It is so important for everyone—residents, businesses and nonprofits– in our community to support each other,” said Tucker.
FSA’s programs and counseling are critical to the well-being of struggling families and individuals throughout the county. Cruise the Village has raised more than $60,000 for programs in Bucks.
